Other ALPA airlines have forums on their union websites. At a previous airline, it was a pretty active place where we could say whatever was on our minds without fear of public scrutiny. DEAR FDX ALPA, MAYBE WE CAN HAVE A FEDEX PILOT FORUM WHERE WE CAN DISCUSS PRIVATE MATTERS IN PRIVATE?

Nothing is private. Even “van” talk has shown up in courtrooms, so just be cautious. |

I advise everyone that NOTHING is ever private. |

The fact that I don't see these forums filled with people upset about what went on in the MD training office does not give me a warm fuzzy about the greater issues.
These forums are probably the WORST place to have these discussions. |
Everyone needs to get past emotions. Let the NC post the TA and then vote. Its that simple. We should be ready to vote down several TA's to get what we deserve. Its pretty obvious the NC isn't going to be close on what the pilot group wanted. The company is finally feeling the squeeze for the first time in 40yrs. They will offer up contract after contract until we get what we want. Being close to our goals is NOT meeting our goals. Get ready for more maneuvering on the company's part to sell us short.

Surely you can’t be serious.
These forums are probably the WORST place to have these discussions. And don't call me Shirley. |

I'm not talking about a nuts and bolts discussion about details, privileged information or the like. I'm just surprised it didn't cause an uptick in a general sentiment of frustration or being fed-up.
And don't call me Shirley. |

This forum is wide open and frequently visited by management, interns for management, and clerks for Ford and Harrison.
Anything you post on this forum regarding negotiations is tantamount to a public statement by the pilots. None of which help our cause. |

That is the most moronic sentiment and. Shows zero thought about the seriousness of this post.
The entire concept is akin to having an abortion, hoping that the next baby will be more acceptable. But hey- you do you, I’ll weigh the entirety of the agreement and vote up or down based on the merits of the final product. |
