Default N999FD "Merideth"

Hi all. Your friendly Brown Neighbor here. I was walking on the ramp today in MDT and I saw one of your 75s next door. It was ship number 999 and there was the name "Merideth" painted under the captains window. Just wondering the significance of the name "Merideth" Have a wonderful day.

every plane has a name. Usually named after an employee’s kid with a few exceptions.

Thanks for the quick reply. I guess I never noticed the names before. That's pretty cool. What is the best name out there? Surely there has to be a unique one or something that stands out.

My favorite was always a 727 called “Zebradebra”. Pronounce that however you like. Not sure if it transferred over to a 75 or not.

Finish late in MEM and you may be able to catch her on stage at "The Pony."

Actually, you’re close. It was “Two Beers”. I stood on the crew stairs, stared at it, and thought, “What in the world?”
