I couldn’t even understand what the point was… Hopefully it was a fun party! Or maybe just to many brown glasses of devils juice on the back porch? I guess your username says what I was thinking

Okay council 22 members, the meeting is today. Please show up and be counted.

So I would like I thank the seven other line pilots who showed up to the council 22 meeting.

If this is the level of enthusiasm we have, don't get your hopes up for great contract improvements.

I brought four motions that were not deemed out of order, and three where voted down. All three Reps and the sec tres voted against the three which failed.

What were they?

We learned recently from the Negotiating Committee that they are trying to improve our pension by raising the FAE Cap. Yesterday, we learned that we're not asking for twice the IRS Defined Benefit limit (as we did in 1999), and our Local Council Reps do NOT want to ask for that much, and they definitely do not want to be told to ask for that much.

They KNOW that we want less. You know, polls and stuff.

Well that’s a surprise!! I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t mandate a bargaining goal 18 months into negotiations, during the first week of mediation driven by 2 votes out of 6000 pilots.

They should have certainly ignored the 8, statistically significant surveys that have occurred over the past 3 years in favor of your well established opinion based on ???

The Bulldog and The Surgeon at it again. Fantastic! We are all doomed!!!
