Guys we have a lot of work to do. All I keep hearing from guys I fly with is how great Fedex is compared to other airlines. In some ways it is, in others this couldn't be further from the truth. I fear many guys here don't realize what they don't know and have never spent a significant amount of time at the other legacy passenger airlines. Our job overall severely lacks the overall satisfaction and health benefits. The pay is good, but there is way more to life than a paycheck. I made the jump, and have been regretting it for some time now.

The MD11 guys were making more during covid but that party is 100% over now.
Our QOL is really, REALLY FAR behind the rest of the industry too (substitution, base replacement that you won't even get paid for, uncompensated revisions, money robbed from pilots via the expense report process, etc).
We have a lot of misguided people here that feel like we are the best, even though that's far from the truth. They also foolishly believe that we can't compare ourselves to any other airline because they have PBS and we don't, and to them that somehow means we need accept PBS if we want to get other QOL improvements. It will make you pull your hair out trying to explain that this is not true to one of these clueless people.
But I will agree. We have a LOT of work to do. NO CONCESSIONS.

Our union hasn’t begun educating us, which they appear ready to begin, so I have felt like I have to inform my colleagues. I feel this way because I had a pilot say that a 10% pay raise would be good. That would have us behind UPS and waaaaaaay behind Delta, and likely way behind UA and AA if they match or exceed Delta rates. We all need to be engaged with our union but also with industry trends. I will not accept being paid $1 less than legacy airlines, let alone the $100 it could be soon.

Not likely. And also everything is fluid based on a new contract.

There’s no documentation. That’s actually why I posted. As stated, it’s a rumor. Rumor source is a pilot friend who seems to be in tune with the numbers. He’s been correct in anticipating the other recent hiring pushbacks. They stopped interviewing around Nov. It was then pushed back to Jan, then June. Why do you think it’s not likely to get pushed back again? Hopefully you’re correct. Just trying to understand the situation at FedEx.
