Slide 30 is a slap in the face.

Ok but realistically ‘Express’ implies the air segment. You can’t overnight a package from Miami to LA without air. Also, slides 20-24 are titled ‘Air Network’.

There’s plenty to be worried about, but your post just comes off as paranoid and out-of-focus.

I listened to the call yesterday. Plenty of talk about the air network, although not necessarily anything good from a pilot’s perspective. There was one analyst later in the call who directly asked about pilots and the implications of the contract etc. and their answer seemed rather incomplete and dodgy.

no it doesn’t. Express has used Over the road trucks for decades, and we should expect that to increase. And if management wants to do that, fine. But allowing other companies to FLY our freight is a huge problem.

In certain markets and between certain cities yes of course OTR is a part of the equation. But my point stands, you can’t reliably deliver First Overnight and Priority Overnight freight without the air network. If you could, they’d have already done it.

If you are implying that the lack of the word ‘Air’ on that one slide means they’re planning to outsource all of our domestic lift - well yeah that would obviously be worst case scenario. I also view that as so extremely unlikely that I’m not going to worry about that as there are other problems that are manifesting in the short term.
