Default Save paper and money

TA 2.0 may take months or years to produce. Can we please change the bylaws or whatever now so a pdf of the new TA is acceptable instead of wasting the paper and money to print our very own 8.5”x11” copy? Can I get an Amen?

I disagree. A paper copy cannot be changed. An electronic file can be changed. I'd rather have a hard copy for myself.

We have plenty of paper. We have plenty of trees. It is a cost of doing business.

You mean like the original TA1 stated goal of “industry leading pay rates”? The union wouldn’t do such a thing😏

Tell me you print the release without telling me you print the release.

I totally agree and thought the same thing when I received mine and opened it up. It seems like a huge waste of paper and dues money. If someone has to have a paper copy for whatever reason then they should be able to check a box on their alpa profile and can receive a hard copy … otherwise it should default to a pdf being emailed.

I don’t even want to know how much expense went into printing and shipping all those - just to be tossed in the garbage can.

I'll tell you. I print the release. I repeat. Trees are a renewable resource. We have plenty of trees. We have plenty of paper.

I believe the company pays for the hard copy. Let them.

I'm sure that the company pays for a paper copy of the CBA, but I doubt they pay for TA's.

On the bright side, if no hard copy goes out most of the yes voters won't even know there's a vote.
