Default Tribes

We have successfully shattered our crew force into multiple tribes. Freely discussing NO-YES, OLD-YOUNG, CIV-MIL (name the hill you're willing to die on) on social media. Greatly strengthening the oppositions both operational and strategic goals (crushing the union)

Please note, It is not my purpose to relitigate the numerous issues resulting in the historic failure of the TA. Rather, a vision for the upcoming battle. Full disclosure, I'm just a regular line-dog who's opinion is based on observations here over 19 years

The Known: New Game. We are entering the colosseum as tribes desperately requiring tactics and strategy to rejoin, moving forward together in order to obtain meaningful success

The Unknown: What exactly will be coming out of the tunnel. Suspect it won't be the something we've faced before but will see soon enough

The Choice: We either find common ground NOW fighting shoulder to shoulder. To do otherwise will result in being defeated in detail

Cue the Gladiator movie soundtrack

While Mil vs Civ might seem like a stupid division, there are actually a few legit differences...

The biggy is medical benefits, both short-term and long term. Retired and reserve mil don't want to spend a lot of negotiating capital for something which doesn't benefit them.

Civ pilots probably don't want to negotiate certain benefits for mil on orders (some of that is provided by federal law though).

All legit considerations, and people have to come together to compromise.

While I agree we must come together, it is clearly the former Yes voters causing the delay in a futile atempt for quickness. TA 1.1 would not be ratifiable if it mearly rearanges the deck chairs and comes from the same team.

It is only a matter of time before the new, openminded MEC takes the majority. The old MEC is gone. For whatever the reasons, they failed. The younger pilots along with the more senior pilots who want real change are taking control using the process one seat at a time. It is time we all recognize the facts and get behind the effort to improve the TA for all. If you look at the timelines of the past, You will be able to see when the next TA should arrive. Getting the new team in place now benefits us all. It is time we all learn the red pill blue pill lesson. Facts matter and understanding only come from effort.

The good news is more pilots than ever are engaged. Let's keep that involvment going, and let's use those efforts for good.

The sooner we work together, the sooner we have TA 2.0.
