That’s not true…The route started in 2018. According to SAN ops, it was only 2 positions and it was put on the route to create an “emerging” market. And I’m told it went up to SAN due to layover security.

If it was for security then why did the crew fly freight from the San inbound down to TJ layover during the day and fly back with night sort freight?

drug lords aren't dangerous at during the day? Ever cross the border during high traffic times. Ptioity freight isn't going to make it.

they had a TJ MEM flight for a while which you might be thinking of.

i lived and jumpseated and operated in and out of SAN for over twenty years so I have pretty good group of ramper friends.
