Just listened to the most recent grievance and contract enforcement podcast. It reeks of the silent minority. I’m optimistic about the MEC we put in place, but they certainly need to look down through the organization and rid us of the company apologist cancer. We don’t need to hear about the companies troubles or excuses why the company does something. We need our grievance and contract enforcement folks waiting with the torches and pitchforks for us to give them a valid reason.

Not at all what I got out of it. It sounded like "help us help you". But, everything is a conspiracy when you don't know how anything works (like the RLA).

Haha. My post is about ridding the union at all levels of the dangerous combination of arrogance and ignorance “arrognorance” that was previously in full control. We just have a little more work to do through our reps. I feel like I’ve heard quotes like this a time or two before haha “when you don't know how anything works” the arrognorance is strong with you.

Cool word bro, all your bros must think you are really smart and cool. "Arrognorance" (whatever) is not bothering to even try to understand how something works and just say "it's broken" becuase you are too stupid and arrognorant to figure it out. You guys are doing a great job, by the way. Bargaining is going great. They dedicated a whole 90 minutes to the NC during the next MEC meeting. Contract 2026 here we come!!

I or “we” didn’t break it. It takes an incredible amount of arrognorance to hand a broken system to someone and say they are stupid and too arrogant to figure it out. I might be arrogant, and I might be stupid, but I am not even close to as ignorant as I’d have to be to fit in at a company apologist party.

It’s funny that that is the definition you came up with. Arrogance is defined as someone who has an inflated sense of their self importance. And ignorance is a lack of knowledge, understanding, or information about a situation or topic. Let me restate, a person with an inflated sense of self importance and a lack of knowledge, understanding and information. If I were negotiating against that person, I would give them TA23.
