If you're in Blocks 1, 4, or 8 and you don't like having your dues money wasted....please make sure to vote against the recalls. You need to call your friends in those blocks and explain this position to them.

You CAN change your votes on recalls up until it closes (21st I believe?)

Think about this: IF the recalls are successful, there will be an effort to put us right back into 4.A.2.c.....

Is this a win for us? Why did the company agree to remove sections 4.A.2.B and 4.A.2.C? Did they believe they would lose the grievance? Are they prioritizing furloughs instead? Could there be a more sinister motive we haven’t uncovered yet, which might take years to fully understand?

From my experience at FedEx, the company doesn’t act out of kindness. Their decision likely serves to avoid something unfavorable or to gain something they want or need.

Perhaps. Its also possible that they perceived the damage that 4a2b/c was doing to the operation, know that they won't stay in forever, and agreed to eliminate it because they don't want the cost of fighting the grievance and the uncertainty of the outcome. I'd argue (and have argued) that from our perspective it seems unlikely that we'd get a large settlement. Maybe the company saw the opportunity to get a win-win and took it. Or maybe they really are out to get us...but if you think that even a win like this is them trying to screw us then I'm not sure you'd be happy under any circumstances other than a different employer.

So the only way we are going to get anything is by being released and striking?

Time is our leverage, except when it isn't, but also when it is again...wait...what's the catchphrase this week?

Fixed it for ya:

WHEN the recalls are successful, there will be no effort to put us right back into 4.a.2.c cause they already negotiated that away.

Vote the backstabbers out!

And what's your plan when your hero, JG, gets back in position?

If your representative is not representing your views, it’s vital that their actions are challenged. I highly doubt that those in blocks 2,4,5,7 and 11 have the backing of the majority that they are supposedly representing.

"Overwhelming majority" if you use THEIR math.

The rat came out of his hole! Looks like you are burn it down five minion! Good luck with TA 2029 forced on you by congress. I am sure congress will want to give rich pilots a great contract. Especially since FedEx has all of them in their pocket.
