I’d advise giving yourself 3 weeks minimum studying all day to prep for the interview. You get one shot...

I wouldn’t worry too much if you are turned down. Fedex is starting to feel the pinch as they are offering second chances not long after first denial, something they never did in the past, how times are changing.

Ha good to know. I guess I could anticipate 757 out of Memphis as a new hire? What’s that like trip wise?

Looks like this poster doesn’t even work at FedEx.

How far out? I’ve heard a year.

HKG

I just finished my FedEx online application, and I was curious if living and flying out of HKG carries any advantages. Quals: 800 total on the G550 with 500 pic and hold a B.S. Degree from ERAU. Of course extensive international experience.

your thoughts ladies and gents.

Cheers

Yes. $100/hour minimum rate in an FDA. $4,500/month housing stipend (minimum... I think HK is actually higher than that right now). Move package, seed money, education allowance (flip a coin if it’s good or bad). If you are single or married with no kids, it’s a no-brainer (as long as the wife is on board). With children... caveat emptor. I think for a new hire who is adventurous FDA living would be a great deal.

Be sure to check the section of the application stating that you are willing/wanting to accept a FDA. (I can't remember exactly how its worded) CS said at a job fair earlier this year that answering yes to that questions COULD help to get your app pulled if they need to fill FDA's.

Good luck! It seems they are calling a full range of qualified candidates from all backgrounds.

Hi to all,

Just finished my application on pilotcredentials and submitted an application on FedEx's website as well. On pilot credential I have green checkmarks on every section, but the status says profile is incomplete! Any particular reason for that?

Also, there is a test outline information provided. Do they send you a link for test at a later date for the Pilot Job Knowledge Test? How does it work?

Thanks
