FedEx Hiring

If someone is that much trouble, obob, I'd say it will come out. FedEx fired a guy on probation back in 2011/12 timeframe. If he's that awful, I am sure it not stay a secret.
In the meantime, you come across a bit weird here. While we have screen names, many of us know each other on these boards. Trashing someone on these boards behind a screen name might make you feel better, but it does a couple things as well. First, it makes you come across as jealous or worse... Second, it might make you liable for slander or something similar if the guy ever did get in trouble. Screen names are only a subpoena away from no longer being anonymous. For over a decade I've been on these boards, and the mantra I used is "never say anything you wouldn't say at a trip folder..." Another way to say that is never say anything you would not say at a hearing at your employer. I shot my mouth off quite a bit back in 07/08 on age 60 changes and the first FDA LOA, but I was saying the same things publicly in our ops areas and even ran for an ALPA position to try to effect some change.
People have paid a lot of money to get a little advice from me over the years. I'll offer this to you (and others) for free: You ain't anonymous. Words have consequences. And what is post is posted...well...forever. I don't know you nor do I know this new hire very well, but I do know that civility, manners, and little common sense make these boards a lot more valuable. You don't have to take that advice, but if he DID ever get in trouble he could make a case that pilots outside the company attempted to discredit him during his probationary year. I know three pilots I have personally helped get hired at FedEx that are also lawyers, and I think they will tell you that "cyber bulling" or similar stuff can actually get you sued. Again--I have no dog in this fight, but I haven't seen a post like yours in all the years I've been on here. I'd tread pretty carefully...

Hey guys, well I just got the interview email for FedEx. I was wondering if someone could PM me with any info they may be able to provide about the interview process? I wasn't expecting an interview so anything would be greatly appreciated…i.e.; interview prep, books to read?
Let me know as i'm very excited about the opportunity.

So has Fedex actually hired anyone in April or May? Seniority list shows most recent new hire as starting ITU April 1 or late March (probably hired in March). Guy 4 from the bottom is already on the line. I know it's been put out about "authorized to hire" but I seem to recall PC put out the same statement in November and almost zero hired since then.
