Anyway, we put together a deal and said we would pull the trigger on the contract when (IF) the TA passes. Just got the word that I'll have to make a down payment when the first bonus check comes in.

Well, I'm on the way to have my own custom built ski-boat....and between the bonus and about two drafts a month for a year...it is essentially free!

I mean I get the whole retirement and healthcare thing....but I actually have a trust that takes care of that. It does limit my payout in retirement if I have any debt...so in all honesty, the TA worked out great because the more liquid I stay now.....the more I get when I retire. Sorry it didn't work out for some of you.
I'm looking for the "winky face" ( ) and can't find it anywhere. Did you forget to put it in? Please tell me you forgot to put it in.

Oh believe me Box.....I am smiling!

"all your no votes are belong to us"

I'm hoping some of the more vociferous "no" guys senior to me will have to go on LTD due to their blood pressure after reading my post. I was told that a yes voter was all about himself and short sighted.....

I am enjoying playing the part if only as some sort of weird vicarious payback for the awful things some of the "No" guys said on this forum.

Hey can you give me a hand with this ladder? Not only is it heavy, but I need to shake a few "No" voters off it.

You guys wanted my help and pledge of support as a yes voter if the TA failed....and I was all in. I expect the same support from the NO crowd now.....or was it all about them?

Box....I know you'll grit your teeth and support the process....lets get smart and re-engage on retirement.

And I'm sure you will use your "high end ski boat" to pull tubers in circles and make all of the real skiers as happy with you as all the no voters on this forum. It's one thing to win it's another to rub someone's nose in it. If my 14 yo acted this way after winning a football or basketball game he'd be grounded for weeks. Is this really anyway to bring this group back together ? I too will move on and see where this contract takes us. If the company does re-engage on retirement I will be the first to admit I was wrong.

Why would the company re-engage on anything now?

You want all those guys that claimed they were going to retire when we had a contract to keep hanging on because now we're gonna fix their retirement? Though now they won't retire until after Dec 31, 2016 anyways.

The company is in total re-engagement mode! "How do we twist the new language to our benefit" mode - that is the re-engagement we get.

And, to all those that think the company will just re-open negotiations on retirement if we can show them how it benefits them - go back to the CGN LOA. They needed something and still extracted a piece of our hide to get it!

Do us all a favor and post the exact location, model, and registration number. Me and a couple of other guys want to see it up close. We want to crash your victory party.

Really ... It'll be a blast!

Congrats, drive safe

On a side note, back in the day, ONE pilot could afford to buy a high end ski boat. Its sad that today after the continual management beat down and FUD campaign, 22 pilots are needed to buy that high end ski boat : and to boot, one out of the 22 brags about their purchasing power on a depreciating asset. WHat am I missing???

I might be wrong, but maybe you are pulling our chains?
