FDX Which aircraft?
Any advice on which aircraft to pick when hired at FDX?

If you pick the 75/76, and then later fly the triple, all the FMS's will be almost identical.
The Airbus and MD FMS's are different. Airbus and MD are slowly going away. If you pick a wide body, you will make more money, but be more junior for longer. OK if you live in MEM, not as easy if you commute. |
Go for the Maddog, anyone can fly a Boeing. ;)

The Airbus has the most day time flying and the fewest multi-leg trips. It is not going away anytime soon. Jumpseaters in the Airbus sit in the back, behind a locked cockpit door. Toilet is also in the back.

In a year or so, the Airbus will be the largest wide body fleet....

777 Captain without a doubt.

757 will be fastest route to holding a solid line and not having to rent a crashpad.

757. Get seniority and avoid the inevitable excess bid.
