Hey! I have female dogs, and they don't lick themselves.

However, that may be the reason they sleep all the time.:D

According to Sam Kinison, you probably just need to teach them the alphabet. :D

When I got hired here there was a bid pretty quick due to all the hiring. I remember guys telling me "Don't pay attention to the practice bids, guys are just messing around."

When I asked why they said "To mess with the company." I thought to myself they are not messing with the company, the company doesn't care. They are messing with their fellow crewmembers by trying to be cute.

I think most of those chuckleheads are gone, and the practice bids are doing what they are supposed to. Or the numbers on this bid are so big that the remaining chuckleheads can't screw it up.

Let me rephrase this. Why would a senior MD-11 Captain bid a 757 fo seat, when they could be a senior 757 captain? Who takes a 200K+ paycut just to fly out of their hometown? Drop 80% of your trips, get one little double deadhead trip a month, make the same money.

And who screws around with the bid just because? Give me another reason.

Is there a list of non-members somewhere on the ALPA website?

No kidding! I had heard many times we were down to under 10 guys on that list.

And I flew with 2 of them, in Feb and Mar.
