KCM denial at SAN

I got "denied" at SAN the other day (30 Mar). Are we continuing to have issues with this? I guess Fedex IT is overwhelmed with working to get our contract enhancements online

All kidding aside, need to know if this is an issue so as to budget adequate time clearing TSA. Wasn't a problem at SAN, but places like EWR are currently a disaster with TSA lines.

I always plan on being denied about 1 in 10. The good news is when I a selected to be searched for 20 keys of coke in my backpack they always walk me to the front of the line.

I took him to mean he got denied, as in, the KCM system didn't ID him correctly (maybe due to FedEx IT issues). It sounds like you're thinking he just got selected for random screening.

Which one was it D?

I was denied in FLL a week ago. It seemed to be only an FX issue, as 3 different other airline crews went through fine. There was no FCIF mentioning KCM was down at the time.

Couldn't it just have been a random denial that forces you through regular security just as a random TSA screening exercise?

TSA's words: "seems like something is wrong with your airline's system".

It displays your history and the exact denial code. This should help you determine if it's a company problem or a KCM problem. Usually when I get denied I scan again and it works. If that doesn't solve the problem, I ask the agent to manually enter my info. The one time these two steps didn't resolve the problem I discover the company was the source of the issue.

Good luck.

Anyone know if it is up and running? Have DH's this week and want to avoid the airport two-step. The queue sucks, but at least they let me through.

Good suggestion. Checked the TSA website and the reason for denial was "Unable to verify employment status". and I had attempted twice, with the same result. Good results indicated of several recent clearances through KCM.
