VP hinted at international expansion and opportunities in VP Christmas message. Any FDA'ers or MD-11/777 guys present want to fill in the details for the rest of us?

Right ...any discussion of 767 US to Eur to US, poss new FDA or future of Airbus Siba?

As I stated in a previous thread, the VP said at a previous hub turn meeting that Europe was going to expand and the 767 would replace the Airbus SIBA.

Even ANC, or just MEM MD-11s?

I was in a 727 LCA meeting when "O" said that we will never-ever see a 767 here at FedEx...

Maybe, someday..... but not any time soon. 777s are maxed out. Nothing else on the property can fill the role of an -11, one for one.

My 767 ain't ETOPs, has no oven, no bunk, and takes off close to MTOGW and often lands close to MLW. Its a tough middle-weight in a heavy-weight fight. When Fedex drops an order for 20-40 more 777s or 747-800s, I will take notice. Until then, forgive me if I keep reading the updates on the MD-11 pages of The website and look over the memory items now and then. Its a damn good jet and I still miss it...
