Default Vips..... Afu

Anyone else have a problem with VIPS? Only VIPS on the web and the only place it goes to is the Hotel Cancellation Notification page. Rebooted, checked on two other devices, all taking me to the same place. ***

I think you have to answer the question as to whether you are canx any hotels rooms before it will let you go anywhere else. Kind of like a notification. If you don't click that you have been notified, then it won't let you navigate to another page.

Did you put in for a hotel cancellation but didn't acknowledge it? That seems too specific and on too many devices for that to not be the case.

Exactly.

It works the same as Viewing a Notification but not Clicking on the Acknowledge button or the E-Mail Myself button (which also acknowledges). Once you go down that road, you can't view anything else until you've acknowledged the Notification, and once you try to look at the Hotels, you're stuck until you do what they want.

The solution (in the future) is to never look at the hotels. The more that are cancelled, the more likely we'll lose those contracts and the more likely we'll end up in inferior properties.

Law of unintended consequences.

1998...over Iraq...leading a 6 ship of F-15s doing no fly zone enforcement. Check in with AWACS...who for whatever reason cannot come up secure or show up on the right Have Quick (frequency hopping) net. Morons.

Next on deck are our F-16 CJ SEAD support. Again..not in the net, not available on secure. ********* morons.

C-130 Compass Call...more guys who graduated last in UPT. Douchebags aren't on the net either....

Here come the strikers...the F-16s. Again--these clueless tools cannot find their way on the HQ net.

(Hey...hmm...do you suppose....)

And that is how the first deployment of fearless USAFE Eagles showed up to enforce the No Fly zones in CENTCOM. (By the way...Centcom has different comsec codes and passwords than USAFE.....)

(Six Eagle drivers blushing. One very mad brand new Mission CC staring a hole through # 4 who is 3. 5 miles away on his left wing...the comsec officer for the flight...)

Been there, done that. When it ain't working...it sometimes (maybe) just might be you.

Lesson ...

Whenever you click the Hotel Cancellation Notification, you can not access any other page until you enter what you're going to do with your hotels and ground transportation.

You can't open up another tab and check your schedule. Once you click it, you can't do anything else.
