Just FYI. the Karbon jacket will cost about $70-90 out of pocket depending what size you purchase. You can call the uniform store and they’ll tell you the exact amount. They’ll use the $200 uniform allowance and then deduct the difference from your paycheck. I got mine earlier this year and it took quite a while to receive it s o order early. I’d highly recommend going to try on both the jacket and the liner before purchasing. Some folks get different sized jackets than they do liner. It’s worth your time to try it in before purchasing since they are expensive.

Is that allowed now? I tried that in the past and was denied. You can do that at Southwest, they have the same jacket. At southwest you order straight from the manufacturer and can order just the shell or liner if you want. That would also allow us to spread it over two years but something as simple as that is not allowed at FedEx.
