Flexjet Interviews
Does anyone have any current Flexjet interview experience or gouge?
Particularly interested in the sim/technical portion in DFW. Thanks in advance. |
As far as I know the sim hasn't changed. You will get a take off and a landing. The ILS is raw data I believe. If you get a lead sim you need to be on the trim because there is no hydraulic assist. But it is a non event if you use trim.

Who, in his right mind, would possibly want to work at FlexJet?

HR style interview at the home office in Cleveland then another interview in Dallas with the aviation guys. Sim ride in a Lear or challenger. Takeoff, ILS, Hold, V1 cut, land. Great experience.

I'm interested in your opinion. Feel free to PM me. |
I think he means till all of the shenanigans being played by management trying to break the Union are all arbitrated against!!! Till then you have no idea what you are getting into!!!!!

Ahhhh, I gotcha. Otherwise, its a pretty decent place to work at?
I ask because I have an opportunity to fly for a regional and possibly at Flexjet. I'm thinking Flexjet will be the better opportunity. |

Thank you for everyone's good advice. I'm really not sure what I want. I've been flying for over 21 years with lots of 121/135 time and have held almost every job in aviation except for crop dusting. To be honest, I'm burnt out.
I have my stuff in for the majors of my choice but until they call I have to work somewhere. Unless there is a aviation job that allows it's pilots to show up in shorts and sandals, work 9 to 5 3 days a week, get paid $120k a year with free health care, I'm not sure there is a culture I really identify with, there'll all just jobs. I do have a great chance at flying for Kalitta which I would really enjoy as I flew for Evergreen back in the day. The only problem is a Flexjet offer would make it harder to pursue Kalitta. My crystal ball is broken darnit-all. |
