Default Returning to the career, FlexJet question

Hi All,

I took a 3+ year rest from flying (kids came along) and built up a nice fall back career. I am however looking forward to getting back into flying and was wondering how important is recency of experience to FlexJet for an FO applicant? I am sitting at 3000 hrs, ATP, some 121, mostly 135 experience, with 135 being the most recent, but as stated before, I have not flown professionally in the last 3+ years and not at all in the last 2. Thanks for any and all info you guys may have.

They would probably give you an interview and if you can fly the sim they probably will hire you.

I would suggest getting IFR current before even touching the application.

Are you IFR current? BFR? If not, I'd get current and also get a BFR whilst you're at it. Medical? Get everything current before thinking of applying anywhere. Just my opinion.

Just got my medical current, was planning to get ifr current in a multi to shake off the rust. Just wanted to know if I needed to have more currency with work experience, so, good news! Thanks for the info!
