17 firm G700 orders for Flexjet

Wow! This is an impressive order for 16 (not 17 - sorry for the typo) copies. No doubt these new G700s (and growing G650, G500 and G450 fleets) will complement the new incoming Aerion Concordes in a few years: https://www.flexjet.com/supersonic/ ;)

I love the Globals, but I bet the folks at NetJets are kicking themselves now for yielding the Gulfstream market to Flexjet...

No, their management heads are firmly rooted in a location that doesn't allow them to see what's going on.

Dude you really do crack me up. If I would have spent time working with you at NJA I may have had a better time.

Flexjet’s last order in 2014 was for 50 Gulfstreams, according to APC, they have 14 total. 4 650 and 10 450. Love to see what they actually do vs. what they are say they are doing.

Interesting.

Gulfstream just laid off like 400 people in Savannah last week.

All middle management, paper pushing, supervisor of paperclips type jobs. Nothing on the production floor. They can't build them fast enough.

Does this order have anything to do with Qatar or is this solely Flexjet?
