Have the in-person interview next month. I am at 1,006.5 hours and I keep seeing everyone say it is 1,500 hours minimum. Wondering if I slipped through the cracks, and will be told to come back later or if I genuinely have a chance. Graudate of a part 141, collegiate program with bachelors in aviation. Then went military and flew single seat fighters and have 100 hours of 737 time too. 780 Turbine, 690 of it PIC. R-ATP eligible and ATP written complete.

Thank you! This definitely relieves a lot of stress. Definitely prefer to go to Flexjet. The idea of going to a regional just because I have only 1,000 hours was a bit ridiculous. Also have a NetJets interview in January.

Went to the interview, got a CJO, but told to come back when I have 1,500. Did great in the panel and the sim interviews. A little bummed, but also glad theres at least a CJO.

The panel interview is straightforward. No technical questions, they want to get to know you as a person. They do ask “tell me about a time in the plane when you disagreed with someone” and some general questions about your aviation history. Why Flexjet? Do you have any 121 aspirations? That one… one of the interviewers stared straight into my soul trying to see if I was lying. For me they even asked me about my eagle scout project (close to two decades ago!), what I was most proud of as a coach, and how I trained for my athletic endeavors. All personal questions. They do want to know your level of customer service, and times you went above and beyond, so definitely have a plan for that answer.
It’s all really laid back. Don’t stress it. They didn’t even care about a checkride failure that happened a decade ago.

I'm sure they will honor it, they still need to hire more. They cannot implement the 3,000 hours PRIOR to increasing starting pay, they have to go hand in hand or they will have no one applying.
