Is anyone familiar with this school? My son wants to be a pilot and he's being recruited by their swim team. I'm a bit leary of a small Southern school that I've never heard of...

How good is their program? (And yes, he's looking at UND, ASU, etc. He also wants to swim and Div II and flight looks like it might actually work, as opposed to a Div I team.)

I knew several people that did the Aviaton program there. None had any complaints that I can remember, but this was from the 2000-2008 time frame. I haven’t talked to anyone that’s been there since, so take that into consideration

I've had several friends graduate from that program. 2 are active duty military pilots , several are corporate pilots and a couple work for the airlines.

I wouldn't hesitate to send my kid there

I dont know much about the program. I used to fly into Arkadelphia from time to time, and I've talked with the students. They were frequently flying out of other places where I went. Maules, I believe.

I heard no complaints.

Maules with Garmin 430's and Arrows I believe. Seems like a great program. I know a guy who got PPL-CFI in a little over two years there. Only problem is you're living in Arkansas!
