Default 75 hours Instrument for ATP?

I notice that ATP minimums require 75 hours instrument time. I知 only at about 55.

I知 working on my CFI, but I知 wondering how I知 going to get the remaining 20 instrument hours in the 1000-ish hours I値l need to spend instructing. My understanding is that an instrument instructor can only log as instrument time that time spent in actual IMC. I doubt I知 going to get that much actual IMC while instructing in the desert.

Am I going to have to just pay for hood time in order to get to 75, or can I expect to get another 20ish instrument hours in the ordinary course of instructing?
