Does anyone know of a good place that offers blocks of multi time? The best price I can come up with is $200/hr at Sporty's. Im also open to leaving the local area to grab some time for a good price. Thanks!

Ya, I looked at them, but after reading on here about them, it sounds like they have really questionable maintenance. There is also a post on the forum somewhere with someone saying that most of the planes would fail a ramp check and dont have all the 91.205 stuff needed. I would like to build time legally and safely at the best price available.

Its tempting and a great price, but certainly not worth my ticket or life.

Ok well I went there personally and their planes were in the same condition as the planes at Delta Connection Academy. ( I went to DCA as well) They are legal and safe. I did 200 hours in those planes. So for three times as much you can try DCA with the same equipment. The same people who did not like Ari Ben are the same people Mike (the owner) probably *****ed out for breaking a regulation somewhere. Ari Ben serves its purpose which is to get you a job.

There used to be a cheap Seneca up at KAID (Anderson, IN); dunno if it is still there or not.

There is also a Seminole at KMQJ (Mt. Comfort) that as I recall wasn't terribly pricey.

If you don't want to share a plane with someone else and build some actual time in a nice plane drive up to Marine City Michigan 76G its in the northeastern detroit area. They have a Piper Seneca with Dual 430's and wicked STOL kit I think they rent it for 170-180 an hour and they will let you take it for weeks at a time.... www.marinecityaviation.com I have rented from them a few times and really enjoy flying the Seneca

Ya, all my ME time so far is in a Seneca so that would be ideal. Thanks
