Default 9 months to plan

Hello,

My employment is coming to an end in 9 months. Assuming I have around 2 hours per day I can study daily uninterrupted until then, what can I do to prepare for flight school now? Are there things or certifications I could study for now that would help bring the cost of flight school down.

I would likely be going to ATP Charlotte.

Thanks in advance.

I'm just in instrument training now so I don't have much experience yet but one thing I would say is defiantly get your written tests done before you start flying, and 2 hours a day will be plenty you could probably do PAR in 2-3 weeks after 2 hours a day with Kings schools. If you're going to ATP though then go ahead and do all the written tests you can not just PAR. Good luck!
