Default Relocating question

Looking into options for the next leg of my training. Here in the New England area the weather hindered my flying time while working on my ppl. Now I’m looking into schools where I can fly more, year round. Florida and Phoenix are on the radar. Just not sure how well I’d adapt to the heat. Curious if anyone here has made such a move and what their experience was like.

No college involved, flight training only? What’s a little heat, hydrate as needed.

Check out the AOPA flight school finder, look for a good fit.

I’d be a bit hesitant with schools that have high percentage international contracts, you can find yourself second fiddle on the schedule.

I'm a New Englander as well but did my flight training in Texas. Check out Texas Flight in KDWH (North Houston near IAH). Lots of instructors and planes and examiner on staff, hotels nearby too. The weather will cool down by end of September.
