Default mulit time building

I was thinking about buying a Cessna 336 skymaster to build multi time. Would this be a cost effective way to build multi-time?

No, it is centerline thrust. Not a true Multi.

They also have a reputation for being a maintance hog. Investigate the cost of insurance for a light twin before you purchase. Without extensive multi time you might find the cost...thrilling. If you are still serious, consider an older light twin with 200 hp engines, such as a Duchess, Travel Air, or if you can find one Grumman Cougar. Still, you are probably looking at around $200 to $220 hour for 100 hours of operation at current fuel prices, without considering the intial cost of puchase.

We had an argument about this a few weeks ago, try finding that thread using the search function. No need to get everyone all fussy on a Tuesday.
