Honest opinion wanted. I only have my CFI and didn't get my CFII or MEI because I was planning on waiting till I was relocated. I didn't want to start my CFII now then have to pass up a job opportunity. Do you think I'm going about it the wrong way and that I should pick it up now?

Ok i just called them and they sound pretty crazy! 2days for your CFII. What's the pass rate like 10%? I did my CFI in a M20 Mooney and they use 172's. Not too bad of a price though. $1795 if paid for in cash and that includes your instructor and examiner.

Studying hard has never never been a problem I'm just waiting on this place to get back with me out of houston to see if they can use me or not. I called and she said they were taking applications and that she had mine so I went ahead and sent it to her. Here's to hoping for the best.

Good luck...You could live and work in houston as a CFI then get on with ExpressJet or Continental.

Good luck!!

I agree with others, it seems like the II opens up a lot more options. People are more than willing to hire you.
