Default Easa atpl

Hello,

I hold an ICAO ATPL and would like to convert it to EASA. Do you know if there is a possibility to do the exams in South Africa?

Thanks,
Carla

I am a senior member of PPRuNe.

For EASA ATPL papers, the nearest South Africa country you can go to is Austria.

After you completed your exam, you can go to any EASA approved ATO to do your type rating. The nearest ATO will be at UAE.

Hello!

I was suggested to do my licence conversion at Hungarian ATO, Easy-Pilot because they organize EASA theoretical exams in Johannesburg as well. I've just got in touch with them, it seems really professional.
You can check their website:
https://www.easy-pilot.com/convert-to-easa#southafrica
Maybe you can ask them about EASA conversion.
