I think what SLICE said would be the better alternative to this problem just quit, the guy I enrolled with never said a word just that they were hiring and they did not have enough CFI's fo the planes they have!!!

And was also told that the CFi i will be flying with was new and would be leaving soon to the BIG SHOW!!!

These guys put out the pilot's I just dont understand why they would turn away potential CFI's even if you did not work for them. ATP is suppose to be the the CFI king as far as price and just getting you done in a hurry

when i went for my CFI 10 years ago you could not get anyone to help and no one had a idea what to do, That was at Bolivar you guy's are probably to young to remember that flight school!!! I flew My butt off to get My CFI and that was 1100.00 7 days very good training the examiner was very fair

I hope ATP knows what they are doing?

Not a good move!!!

It may very well be a rule for sake of having a rule so if they ever need a rule to throw up it's there. In that case breaking it is no big deal at all, and would in fact be welcome in an under-the-table sort of way. Someone needs to test the waters.

I agree Cubdriva, but I am afraid to burn the bridges from the people working there. Not that they are super connected, but they are connected...If you know what I mean.

Guess this explains when I went and did the interview for the 6-months career program, they asked if I was going to instruct with them I told them "no", they never offered me a class date for their career program (after the financing for the entire program was completed by the bank and ATP just needed to sign the papers)......they turned me away.....too....oh well their loss

Does the contract say you have to instruct there?

If not, sign, get trained, shake hands and leave.

I'm going to go here for now, plus I can live at home with my mom, and it's cheaper than ATP.
