Will be getting a Bachelor in something called "Interdisciplinary Humanities" (i know don't ask). Utterly worthless if you are in the hunt for job, like me. The degree exists partly because most go on to grad school to do from anthropology, performing arts, to whatever they like. But me, since my interest is in aviation, but now looking back I half regret majoring in Liberal Arts but then again if I did something more "difficult" there is no way I will graduate in exactly 4 years.

Been taking classes off and on for years now with absolutely no guidance. I started off with sciences and now find myself taking psychology classes. I'm only a few credits away from a Bachelors degree and will probably finish by taking psychology classes. A psychology degree isn't very marketable but from my experience it's not so much WHAT your degree is in but that you HAVE a degree. I would love to get a degree in "Underwater basket weaving" if there were such a thing.

It is what it is, but the B.S. is a definate to make you competitive in the market. A masters, as mentioned, will mainly do you good if/when the market goes to crap and you find yourself low-man at a company. But in the end, anything that can make you more "hirable" to a company over the "other guy" is always a bonus.
