Any ATP or So-Cal cfi's here?
#1
I'm going to be done with my ASEL-Comm training here in Houston in May and am looking to getting a CFI ticket to instruct in Southern California. I was wondering if there was any ATP instructors here that enjoy their job.
I'm attracted to ATP obviously for the multi time. However, I've heard that a MEI ticket is pretty much worthless unless you already have more than 100 hours in a twin, for insurance purposes.
I really want to be a CFI and if there are any Socal CFI's out there that can offer a pointer or two I'll be grateful. I'd like to stay close to the OC/Santa Ana (SNA) area if possible. I may have to end up doing my CFI initial there anyway... hellllooooo spin training!
