yes, but he doesn't pay as much in malpractice insurance
being a doc can't be that lucrative, 300k in education expenses and then half of your gross income goes to malpractice insurance and then taxes and student loan repayment then whatever is left you get. can't be that lucrative

There is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for advice. There are a lot of good people on this board that has a lot of good advice to give. They might make you aware of things you have not thought about. If nothing else it might make you think.

My advice to you is to make sure you do want you want! Don't get sucked into the hype. You are going to spend a lot of time at work, make sure you enjoy it and that it is financially worth it TO YOU!
