Default Where to go for CFII-MEI

I got a brand new still wet CFI with 250 TT and 15 Multi no Multi PIC, i would like to get my other instructor ratings and I am looking for something comparable to ATP's CFII MEI program that will get me those rating fast and simple.

I am looking for something that will be fast and really cheap, I also need the 15 hours multi PIC in order to get my MEI, any ideas were to build this time cheap?

Where are you thinking of? Alaska, Hawaii, Florida?

If you are still down in FL, why don't you try Flight Safety. If you get your ratings at FSI, its pretty much your foot in the door for a CFI job. At FSI, you will build Single and ME time quickly...around 800 hrs in a year, or less. They pay pretty decent. When I was going to take a job with them over a year ago, I think they wanted to pay close to 20 dollars per hour, but housing was free, and they had off-campus housing pretty cheap if you didn't want to live at the airport. Plus, full beni's too!

Also, don't forget, they have an internship program with FSI. You would be trained on a specific type of jet, and used as a 'filler' SIC. The time is loggable and I have some fraturnity bro's where it has actually opened doors for them for a Corporate flying gig. I believe it pays about $14/hr. My one buddy flew out of Dallas Ft. Worth part-time flying traffic for a radio station, and then worked at FSI on the Falcon 50 and 2000 when he wasn't doing that. He stuck around past the 1 year mark and they gave him a PIC type for free.

Anywho, enough ranting and raving. Good luck. PM me if you need some suggestions. I've been in your shoes and I know it gets a little frustrating at times...

Again, Good Luck!

I'm an instructor at ATP, there is a guy who just started 2 weeks ago in the exact same situation. He got his MEI at ATP and is building multi time. Look into it and see if it works for you.

Work on your CFII in the multi so you get that PIC. It probably won't take 15 hours IMO, but it will accomplish two goals at one time.
