I've gotta agree with Ottopilot on the a/c of the past (727's) with one exception; I loved the DC-8 series. As a youngster they were my favorite.

Although I didn't mention it in my initial post, as far as military goes...it'd have to be the A-10 Warthog and the F-4 Phantom by far!!!

I think my dream would either be an f-16 or a german me-262. Both look amazing.

It all depends on pay, schedule and QOL, but all those things being equal, the following appeal to me:

Float Twotter
747-400/800
Honda Jet
Aviat Husky
Beech Staggerwing
Citation X

I'm thinking Cirrus Turbo, TBM-700, Citation X or the new Columbus when it comes out, 747-400 or higher, 777, A380, maybe MD-11 and as far as military goes I wanted to fly the A-10 and F-14; but I have to profess a certain bond to the Hornet.

Btw - the T-38 is an awesome looking machine. I never liked parking next to it while in my mighty T-2C Buckeye (though I loved looking down at the Tweets) and I at least felt as sporty in the TA-4J even if it wasn't as sleek.

Actually, a T-37 (or even better, an A-37), would make a very nice personal jet.

I agree completely, loved flying the mighty tweet. I hated seeing them all at the boneyard @ DM. What a bummer. However, I don't miss the hot Mississippi days flying that thing without A/C.

Your a couple of years late, I sold mine, otherwise I would be happy to oblige.
