Any tips on ways to develop a knowledge of the Fundamentals of Instructing?

Any acrynoms? Any suggestions? I have Gleims flight instructor book, which has been helpful in getting rid of all the non-sense of the Jeppessen Books. Some of the material is interesting, but its super boring.

If your responses are simply, put the time in and memorize all the mumbo-jumbo, then I wouldn't be suprised - but I thought that it wouldn't hurt to ask if there is any better way.

Thankyou

Most of it is common sense. For the written, memorize the 151 or so possible questions. In my oral, it was just a discussion. Use common sense. Or you can read and memorize the FAA publication of the FOI. Good luck.
