Question FAR 61.87 - No Medical Cert requirements for first solo?

Hey folks -

This is probably going to end up being a stupid newbie question but here goes....

I heard that a Class 3 Medical certificate (Or better) is required for a student pilot's first solo flight, however I cannot find that requirement in FAR Part 61 (Specifically 61.87) so that I can reference it in my Solo Check-Out quiz.

Any insight?

To solo an airplane, you need a third class medical and student pilot certificate (In most cases, this is the same document).

For me, I soloed gliders before airplanes, so I could solo with just my student pilots certificate.
