Default New 141 Certificated school in NE

Just throwing this out there for people doing research on 141 schools. Connecticut Flight Academy in Hartford, CT (HFD) was just certified (11/26/08) as a 141 school. The company had a change of ownership about a year and a half ago, and the new owners are trying to develop it into the one of the best flight schools in New England. If anybody has any questions about it feel free to PM me

Cool. I'm also learning in CT, but down at HVN with Robinson.

I thought that I was going to read about a flight school in Nebraska - as everyone knows that NE stands for Nebraska!

So is New Jersey, but you don't see anybody going there of their own free will...

Sure you do. They pass through when they leave New England to move to Nebraska!

Too bad CFA is an absolute joke!

The new owners

a) have no experience in aviation.
b) are the rejects of the aviation industry

The aircraft

a) were once without the best maintained fleet in the area
b) not anymore

Part 141?

a) they couldn't run a 61 gig...have fun with that

Best flight schools?

From personal experience people walk in and enough said. They most times do not come back.

I taught at HFD for awhile and still go back for beers and good company. I can assure you that nothing spectacular is coming forth from CFA.

Hey by the way what ever happened to the Seneca they were leasing?

Any fresh information out there on CT Flight Academy? In particular, QOL for CFIs. I saw a job posting on Climbto350.com that mentioned benefits, but no specifics.
