Default How Fast to get ratings?

Approx how long should it take to get my PPL. Would I be able to do it all within the month of June and July? assuming I took ground school in may.

Depends upon a number of factors:

1. cash on hand; demonstrate knowledge of skills learned
2. availability of an instructor & a/c
3. weather

Normally though it should only take about 60-90 days.

Lots of other factors, too. Good Luck!

Default did mine in 36 days

did mine in 36 days... always had an instructor to work with, flew EVERY day..
i caddied in the morning at a golf course, made the cash, then went to fly everyday for about an hour or two... when getting the private, as opposed to other ratings, you cant get rusty by only flying one or two days a week... repitition is the best thing for the first rating, so fly as often as possible.

it will cost less, you will learn more, and become more proficient quicker... as far as the knowledge part is concerned, you need to be committed to learning it and leaving other things aside for awhile

if anyone differs, feel free to chime in
