Advice for high school pilot

Believe it or not, you get free tuition at ERAU as a CFI there, not hiring for a while tho.
But, I would agree to get a degree somewhere not aviation related. You are quite ahead with certs and ratings, all you need is a degree. If you really wanted to try to instruct while going to the same school and possibly get free tuition, try ASU or OU or Perdue or SIU, etc. I don't know if they provide tuition for employees, I'm sure someone else can help you there.

I am at Purdue for 'aviation management'. Its essentially for ATC, but It's a perfect balance of aviation and management. I have to do the typical management/business classes like economics, accounting, management, statistics, calculus, etc...but, it IS a 'management' degree. In addition, I am minoring in management and organizational leadership... That's an interesting option. I think it really keeps options open. look into it. I love it here. Good luck!
BTW, an intersting thing to note is that Purdue offers many majors. For example, if you decide you want to change your degree (you know, become a computer engineer and actually make some money), you are already there. Can't say that about Webster and Riddle, etc.
