Default Spartan College of Aeronautics

I just finished a tour with them, on Thursday of last week, I my option this school dose not teach professional they are just a pilot mil and just after the money. I felt when i walk in i was over dress for the tour, and i was wearing a very nice shirt, tie, and slacks.
The class rooms and air planes are in my option 2nd rate, students are not required to look and act professional. My option is that if your going to go to school to be a professional, that type of behavior need to be ingrain on day one plain and simple. There chief instruction pilot did not give me the correct answer when i ask him a reg question. The tour guide could not even explain what happened to a 152 that was in the shop to getting fixed after a very hard landing.
the Admission rep wanted $300.00 for the app fee, + they wanted a pre pay of +$4000.00 up front. Needless to say this was a wast of my time..

If you would like any more information plz pm me and i will be glad to walk you through the tour..

again this was MY option when i toured, and for me i was not impressed one bit by there dog and poine show that they did.
i just felt that the admission rep was nothing more than a high pressure car salesman. The point to all this was I'm looking for a Quality Education not one that is based on quantity or how much i have in the bank account and that is what i got the impression of.

Schools change. Spartan has been around for decades. I went in the '80's. It's just another school. I wanted student loans and faster training than I was getting at the FBO. I did my Comm/multi/instrument and left. I was lucky to get a good instructor. It doesn't matter where you go: FBO or big school, you can get a good or bad instructor anywhere. Find a good one.

ALL schools want your money. Almost all instructors are trying to build time.

I currently go to school and work at Spartan on line crew. Please ignore the OP's 1 time glimpse of the school as a valid assumption. PM if you want to know any details of the school.
