Sounds like a good deal. I'd go for that. People getting hired by Skywest is a good sign. Skywest is a good company from what I hear. Definitly do your degree online with Phoenix.. I am going to be starting the MBA with them this fall

It is sort of hard to tell alot about a flight school from a web site, but from what they have on their site, they look like a good school. They have realistic prices for private rating, nice and new airplanes for reasonable rates, and a lot of students now in airlines. If you are interested in them, go take a discovery flight and see what you think.

I've always wanted to be an airline pilot, and I am hearing mixed opinions on whether or not it's worth it to start at my age.

I realize the mandatory retirement age is 60, so I know that if I start now, I only have about 22 years or so to fly commercial.

I'm not married, nor do I have children, so it's not like someone will suffer if I go to school for the next 14 months.

I've been looking at this Regional Air Academy in Phoenix. Anybody heard of it?

Thanks

Jumping from one dead end to another? Perhaps you should choose a real career this time?

Oh now Sky High, don't tell me you're one of those naysayers. Just exactly what would you consider a "real career" other than this?

That's like asking the pope if he's "one of those Catholics."
