Default Pan Am Beijing

I was looking in Air Jobs Digest, and Pan Am International Academy is looking for CFIs to do 18 month contract work in Beijing. Since I have my CFI ride in two weeks, and still have the desire for some adventure with out having to carry a rifle (like my previous profession), I'd like to send them my resume.
I lack a Multi Commercial. Few Questions that I have:
1) I'm still an active member of the Army Reserves, with this in mind should I
forget about trying to do this, or would I be able to work something out
that I can still go to drill weekends?
2) What are the impressions of people who have done insructed for PAIA in
Beijing?
3) What other information do I need to know about instructing for them?
4) Could instructing for them lead to flying for one of their airlines, since I'll
be working in that part of the world and making contacts?
Thanks for any info.

I would say unless you're drilling with the PLA, it won't work. You're going to be asking for a week a month counting travel days.

About two years ago I was offered a contract to teach at BPAIFA but took a different path. I'm pretty sure they aren't in business anymore and if so AJD is really scraping the bottom of old recycled ads to stay afloat. They were funded and about half owned by our very own $152 billion dollar bailout baby AIG.

I was a bit disappointed that I didn't go back in 07 but since that time Ive meet a few former instructors, more than a busload of contract students who were there for almost a year and had 10-15 hours to show for it and at least on clandestine video or two..all of which leads me to believe it was a good thing I stayed INCONUS.

Maybe they are back up and running, if so I'd be careful. I'd love to go to China myself so if you find an oppourtunity I'd love to know
