It was just out of curiosity..i fly out of KCRQ when i am not deployed or training somewhere and the JLI caught my attention.

In all seriousness, plan ground checkpoints too. Even though you're using victor airways or VOR to VOR, make sure you have lots of ground points. You never know when you'll get confused and end up reverse sensing yourself into being lost like this guy did when he was a student.
