Are the signatures disabled on this forum? If so, why? Thank you and sorry, I didn't see a help or general forum to ask this on.

Below your signature composition box it says that BB codes are not allowed. Your [url] {/url] BB code won't work. That may be part of the issue.

I tested it without a url as well and it didn't show up. Also, I don't think I have seen anyone here with a signature. That seems odd to me.

FWIW, I am seeing your signature.

Here's what I see:

A different kind of flight training!

except it is not showing as a link, but rather in the "decoded" raw form:

[url=www.evolutionaryflighttraining.com]A different kind of flight training![url]http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/flight-training/

(I took the "/" out of the last bb code for it to display. Disregard the apc url at the end. It keeps showing up for some reason.)

Also, I set up a sig, and it didn't appear until after I logged off and back on.

Figured it out! It wasn't the logging off and on, but in the user control panel you need to turn on "show signatures." For anyone else who wishes to turn this on go to: http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/pr...do=editoptions

Or click User CP > Edit Options > Scroll about halfway down and you will see the option "show signatures." Check it and you're set.

Thanks for the help guys.

Moderators: Why isn't this defaulted as on? Most people won't know to follow these steps to turn it on and most forums (at least that I have signed up with) have this feature defaulted to on.

Yeah, I thought that was odd. You were wondering if the sig option was turned on, and I was looking at your sig.

BB code is enabled on the forum, strict HTML is disabled so <href= .../> tags won't work.

Also, have a look at the TOS with respect to advertising/site promotion.

BB codes are enabled on the general forum, but the Signature Permissions legend says BB Code Enabled No.
(It's under the Signature composition field.)
