A Duke (BE60) for $150/hr? Even if your splitting time, that seems to good to be true. What's the whole story here?

Because the plane probably costs $300/hr to operate, and the rest will be left to reasons unknown. You figure fuel burn of 40gph since those engines are comparable to the ones in the Navajo's, I'd say you're burning $160-200/hr in fuel, the rest in Mx, that's probably about right.

Definately an interesting aircraft, I've flown in one once and it's just easiest to describe it as different.

Yes, that's true. You must be multi instrument rated before you begin as I don't like to do initial multis in a complex aircraft like this. All flights will original out of S67 which is about 10 mile west of Boise, ID (KBOI). If interested email [email protected]

It's a late model A60 (I've got a B60 at my disposal as well if we need it). The whole story is simple: The owner pays my insurance, so all I cover is fuel. I need to accumulate 100 - 125 hrs between now and march 1st as I have a conditional job offer. The $150/hr literally splits the fuel cost in half. As a student I always hoped my instructors would help me get time like this, but they never did. This offer is open to all multi/intrument rated pilots. It' simple, I help you and you help me. Yeah, it's a fun plane. It burns 74 GPH on climb out and 45 - 50 GPH during cruise. I typically run between $250 and $300 per hour to run. Remember this is a pay-for-fuel-only offer. I have to make these flights regardless, so I may as well help someone else out and we can save each other some of the expense.

You could fly a TBM700 for that fuel burn I guess I wasn't even thinking, it's like strapping two Mirage's/Matrix's together and combining their fuel burn(which is about 40gph initial, 32gph cruise climb, 20-22gph cruise)

Cool stuff, wish I was out in Idaho, but its a long trip from Florida to Idaho. Really unique opportunity you've got here. I wish you luck in it.
