which school?
#2
I went to FIT. It is a good school, but they don't have any matriculation agreements with any airlines. I know UND does with Piedmont and Horizon.
Now, at FIT, you can pretty much fly all year around, and UND sometimes it is waaay too cold. UND has a CRJ transition program, and FIT has a King Air program. UND has a helo program, if that interests you at all. If you are into ROTC, FIT has Army ROTC only! I believe UND has ROTC for a few different branches, so take your pick.
Now about getting your PPL. I would def. suggest you start flying now. If you wait until college you might be paying boo-coo bucks, and then find out that you don't like it as much as you thought you would.
I understand that this is a choppy, random post - it's because I am sitting at work and I don't want to get caught emailing...
Alrighty, good luck, and have fun! PM me if you need more in-depth info about FIT. If I can't answer your questions, I will direct you to my friends who are still there.
What year of High School are you in by the way?
