#1
Has anyone in the area of central New Jersey recently gotten a tailwheel endoresement or know a good place to go?
I'm thinking about getting the endorsement and building some time this summer and am just looking for recomendations based off of price and reputation

PS Try asking around at local clubs, they usually have instructors and sometimes have a tailwheel bird.

Thanks, princeton is only like 20 minutes from my house and i've already rented from solberg so it would be sweet if I found something there, but like you said i'm pretty sure neither of them have anything to offer.
I've never been to somerset, but I know it isn't very far so i'll look into that. If that doesn't work out i'll just keep asking around and maybe track down one of these private guys... It'd almost be good to learn on a grass strip since I've heard the typical jobs you can fly tailwheel planes for are usually operated on grass strips in less then desirable conditions

I live in Ringoes (its a small town filled with cornfields right next to flemington) Bridgewater isn't far from me at all, maybe like 25 minutes. I know where somerset is I've just never been to that airport.

seems like it has been a while since anyone has updated the thread. I live in the central jersey area also(close to linden airport, but currently fly out of soldberg/princeton) and was thinking about getting a tail wheel endorsement as well.
any update and leads would be greatly appreciated from fellow jersey aviators.
